Using the Wi-Fi technology, you can chat with friends all day long while watching Sports Center on TV, and share specific information from anywhere, because the Coach's Clipboard is ultra portable, slim, lightweight, and easy to carry in your pocket.
Its handheld unit measures 3.65 x 2 x 0.33 inches, while the base, which is also the charger, is of 6.5 x 6.5 x 1.06 inches, and the whole device’s design is similar with the classic coaching clipboards used in side lines of football, basketball and baseball, with the playing field as layout.
This image can be used by the coach to make plays diagrams during practices and timeouts, right from his/her sofa, as well as review picks from previous years, study competitions and save draft plans on its 80GB HDD space.

f@n PC Concept

Based on the flexible, multiple-screen computer concept, the f@n looks like a folding fan with each of the four displays capable of performing a specific task simultaneously.

It is not very futuristic as the Everyone’s Computer and you could choose which task to assign to which screen.
Measuring 6 x 15 x 2.5 cm in its normal shape, it would be a great ultra mobile PC for people who have to travel often and need to work via the Internet on the go.

An example of use would be when you chat with friends on one screen, while editing a document on another screen, downloading some music with the third, and listening to a music playlist using the fourth one.
The displays can be rotated at 360 degrees, are touch-sensitive, but the user can add a keyboard if the one provided by the screen is not large enough, and a mouse, depending on what he/she is used with.

And what is fascinating is that you can do these with the screens placed on a desk, sofa or wherever you like, as they are connected to the mainframe wirelessly.
Also, if you are traveling by car, you might need to use one of the screens for GPS functionality, or when you are at a friend’s place it would be cool to give a screen to each of the people present and play a funny game together in multi-player mode.

Its designer thought in using power-efficient elements like the solar cell battery, lightweight materials and modularization, so if one component is broken, it can be easily replaced without affecting the other ones.

INFO Live

INFO Live is not a complex PC concept but a very simple one, compared to the other NextGen PC Design Competition participants, and it adopts the easy wearable design idea, a bracelet.

Created as a personal portable storage device easy to browse, INFO Live can perform various tasks combining a mobile handset with personal computer functionality.

You could use it for Internet connectivity, data transfer with other wireless-enabled devices, store lots of information, receive the latest news, e-mails, messages, documents in real-time, watch videos, pictures , listen to the music and write documents while on the go.

It is like a watch so it sports a small display, meaning you’d probably have to connect it to a larger screen or use a projector while working.
The users would access INFO Live via a super easy to use and intuitive interface to manage their data as they like, where they like, using natural gestures such as flipping and finger kicking.
Measuring 55 x 20 x 180 mm, the watch computer would be used mainly by business people that need to travel frequently, and that’s why it should be conceived to be compact, smart, colored in classic black, with the ability to give you a tactile feel while touching it.
